PRIEW WAN
is a traditional chinese cuisine but the Thais also have their version. It has a fresher flavour and makes a good one-dish meal served with rice. Can also be fried with pork or chicken.

INGREDIENTS:
Refined sun-flower seeds oil 1.83%
Tomato ketchup 23.72%
Soybean sauce 5.23%
Boiled water 52.90%
White sugar 5.62%
Chilli sauce 6.38%
Crushed garlic 3.20%
Cornflour 1.12%

PREPARATION:

Devein and shell the prawns. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan. Add the garlic and fry till golden brown, then add the prawns and stir-fry till prawns are cooked. Add the onion and half of the priew wan sauce. Add the rest of the vegetables and pineapple. Add a few tables-poons of water. Continue to stir-fry for a few minutes. Serve hot, garnished with the remainding sauce, coriander leaves and spring onion.
